Indications

SI-NAILS® MicoXpert MD is a sanitary product for the treatment and prevention of mild to moderate fungal infections in fingernails and toenails. It works on the most common types of nail fungi: dermatophytes (tinea unguium), yeast-like Candida (nail candidiasis), filamentous fungi, and mold. In addition, it helps improve the appearance of the nails and cuticles, including the yellowish appearance occasionally caused by fungal infections.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not use if you have an allergy or hypersensitivity to any ingredient in this product. There is no data to support its use during pregnancy or for children under 3 years old. If you have any questions, consult your doctor. In the case of any incident related to the use of the product, please report it to us at www.isdin.com. Tested dermatologically.

Precautions

Keep product out of reach from children. Do not apply on top of open wounds. Apply topically. Do not ingest. To help conserve the product, it’s recommended to store it vertically, with the applicator brush going up. In the case that you don’t notice an improvement or your nail condition worsens, consult your doctor.

Patented combination of ingredients

ISDIN SI-NAILS® MicoXpert MD is formualted with Piroctone olamina and a patented combination of ingredients that hydrates the nails and helps treat and prevent infection caused by fungus.

Cationic hyaluronic acid

Acting as a hydrating agent, it helps improve the appearance of nails and cuticles while also reducing fragility.

Mastic (Pistacia lentiscus)

Thanks to its film-forming properties, it creates a protective barrier that helps protect nails from fungus.

Biosaccharide Gum-2

Helps reduce the adhesion of microorganisms to the surface of nails.

Acrylates copolymer

Helps form a water-resistant film.

Create a barrier against microorganisms

Apply ISDIN SI-NAILS® MicoXpert MD every day, 2 times a day (morning and night) on top of clean, dry nails (without nail polish). Apply onto affected nails, adjacent ones, and cuticles as well. Avoid contact with water moments after application.

It’s not necessary to file your nails before application. However, it is recommended to maintain them as short as possible during treatment.

The first time that you use ISDIN SI-NAILS® MicoXpert MD you should click the button about 30 times, until the applicator moistens. Once the product has started to come out, it’s only necessary to perform one click per nail.

FAQs

How long should I use ISDIN SI-NAILS® MicoXpert MD?

The treatment should be applied for, at least, 3 months. The total time will depend on the initial condition of your nails before starting to use ISDIN SI-NAILS® MicoXpert MD. Due to the slow growth of the nails (toenails grow slower than fingernails), it’s possible that it will be necessary to continue the treatment for more time (6, 9 or up to 12 months).

The first time that I used ISDIN SI-NAILS MicoXpert MD no product came out. How should I use it?

Before using ISDIN SI-NAILS® MicoXpert MD for the first time, you should activate the pen by clicking it at least 30 times or until the applicator moistens. This will activate the flow of the product. After this, you can use the pen normally, just clicking once for each nail you apply it to.

Can I wash my hands after applying ISDIN SI-NAILS® MicoXpert MD?

As ISDIN SI-NAILS® MicoXpert MD is water-soluble, we do not recommend washing your hands after applying.

Should I file my nails before using the product?

No! It’s not necessary to file your nails to begin the treatment.

Can I use ISDIN SI-NAILS® MicoXpert MD over nail polish or gel?

ISDIN SI-NAILS® MicoXpert MD is not designed to use on top of nail polish or gel. It should always be applied directly onto clean, dry nails.
