However, there are ways you can help your mind and body to de-stress and <strong>relax in as little as 5 minutes<\/strong>. Read on for some tips to help you quickly unwind in your day-to-day life.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Find your inner peace<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Practicing mindfulness and becoming more meditative doesn\u2019t have to be limited to long yoga sessions or wellness workshops. Not only can a cup of herbal tea help you to relax and unwind, but it can also be a somewhat \u2018aromatherapeutic\u2019 experience if you <strong>pick a tea with a strong natural scent<\/strong>, such as peppermint or lavender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Get out into the great outdoors<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t have to escape to the beach or mountains to make the most of being outside (though it&#8217;s certainly a good idea, too). A simple stroll around the neighborhood, or relaxing under the leafy shade of a tree can help to give you <strong>a change of scenery<\/strong>. In addition, a quick walk can also give you some exercise, which is good for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isdin.com\/en-US\/blog\/lifestyle\/how-to-relieve-stress\/\">reducing stress levels<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Research suggests that physical activity and exercise can help improve how your body handles stress, as it triggers chemical messengers in the brain such as dopamine and serotonin which boost overall mood.
