Oral treatment of fungal infections
Indicated for the oral treatment of the following fungal infections: Short-term treatments: vulvovaginal candidiasis, pityriasis versicolor, dermatophytosis, fungal keratitis and oral candidiasis. Long-term treatments: onychomycosis caused by dermatophytes and yeasts. In cryptococcosis systemic aspergillosis and candidiasis (including cryptococcal meningitis). In immunocompromised patients with cryptococcosis and in all patients with cryptococcosis of the central nervous system, this treatment is only indicated when the first choice treatment has been deemed inappropriate or it has been proven ineffective against histoplasmosis, sporotrichosis, paracoccidioidomycosis, blastomycosis and other less frequent systemic or tropical mycoses.
