Bexident Tips

Good oral hygiene is the best prevention

The latest oral health survey conducted by the Spanish Association of Dental Professionals shows that the majority of the population doesn’t practice proper oral hygiene. Improving prevention against developing oral conditions, such as tooth decay and gingivitis, is in your hands.

1 THREE TIMES A DAY

Brush your teeth three times a day, after each meal, with a high-fluoride toothpaste and mouthwash.

2 WATCH WHAT YOU EAT

Eat a healthy, balanced diet and try to reduce your sugar intake.

3 GO TO THE DENTIST

Visit your dentist at least once a year to help keep your mouth healthy.

4 BRUSHING

Make sure you use a circular motion when brushing, especially in hard-to-reach areas like the back of the mouth and on the gums.

5 MOUTHWASH

Using mouthwash after brushing is essential for complete, effective hygiene.

6 ELIMINATE TOBACCO

Tobacco not only stains teeth but also leads to serious oral diseases.
