Glycerin

Glycerin is one of the most commonly used moisturizers due to its effectiveness and safety. Additionally, it is suitable for all skin types. Its origin can be diverse: found naturally in vegetables and animals or created from synthetic sources.

Due to its molecular structure, this ingredient helps to absorb moisture. Glycerin helps protect skin from aggressions thanks to its occlusive-emollient character (it acts as a moisturizer and humectant). It also helps to decrease water loss and retain water in the skin.
