School sun protection campaign.

With the aim of finding out about the use habits of solar protectors and the attitudes of the Spanish population with regards to solar exposure, we have been offering for more than 10 years, in close work with the Pharmaceutical Association, an awareness programme about sun protection.

The target audience of this programme are young people between 10 and 18 years of age, which means that we offer training sessions to schools all over Spain. These sessions are based on presentations made by pharmaceuticals and we hand out two polls: one to be filled in by the students and a second one for their families.

With this campaign we aim to find out the use made of preventive measures for sun protection. We also contribute towards improving the degree of awareness of the youngsters with regards to sun protection so that, in the future, the number of cases of skin cancer disease will diminish.
