ISDIN, in collaboration with the IESE Business School
of the University of Navarra, has designed a high-quality
development programme aimed at dermatologists embarking
upon their professional careers. Under the title Programme
for the Development of Managerial Capabilities (PDCD),
its primary objective is to help these new professionals
discover their potential and broaden their outlook on
future opportunities in this sector, offering training
to them in an endeavour to address any personal or professional
projects, current or future, with an entrepreneurial
spirit.
In a setting of increasing complexity, change and constant
innovation, technical excellence is no longer an assurance
of professional success. Knowledge of the economic environment,
the sophistication inherent in human organisations,
the decision-making process and innovation processes
in industry and communication techniques are some of
the emerging needs in problem solving.
This scenario surely applies to the world of medicine,
where technological advances together with the increasing
demand for more sophisticated solutions mean an increase
in demands on professionals while at the same time opening
a world of opportunities. Within this context, ISDIN
wishes to support the development of dermatology specialists
in order to contribute to Spain's placement at the head
of advanced countries in skin treatments.
The programme, given by professors of renowned international
prestige, takes place annually and is endorsed by the
Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (AEDV).
